My Story
My name is Luke Brawner, and I founded Clothed in Christ at 16 years old. My life changed in ways I never expected when I was hit with Lyme disease. It stole things most people take for granted — the simple ability to move freely, the energy to play the sports I loved, the strength to train my body in the way I once found purpose, and even the confidence that came from feeling in control of who I was. Lyme robbed me of the identity I had built through athletics, discipline, and hard work. It stripped away the version of myself I thought defined me, leaving me feeling like I had nothing left to hold onto.
But in that loss, I discovered something greater. I realized that the foundation I was leaning on — my health, my performance, my physical strength — could all be taken away. The only foundation that never shifts is Christ. It was in those moments of weakness, discouragement, and searching that I found a deeper faith than I had ever known before.
That is where Clothed in Christ was born. This brand isn’t just clothing, and it isn’t just a surface-level nod to Christianity. It’s my testimony in fabric — a passion project that grew out of pain, resilience, and faith. Every design carries meaning because it comes from lived experience: reminders that grace still covers when strength runs out, and that hope endures even in the hardest seasons.
